Monstrous Frankenstein and Bride Creations

Pay homage to classic horror cinema by creating Frankenstein’s monster and his iconic bride. This project works best when using green-skinned heirloom pumpkins (like the Jarrahdale variety) or by painting standard pumpkins in vivid shades of monster green and ghostly white. It is a fun, nostalgic nod to the golden age of cinema.
For Frankenstein, carve a flat top, heavy brow lines, and classic neck bolts (which can be made from actual metal bolts or carved corks). For the Bride, use a tall, narrow pumpkin, paint her iconic streak of white hair, and add dramatic, stitched makeup. Displayed together, this monstrous couple makes a delightfully spooky statement.
