What This Idea Means
A mega-scale custom Nether portal frame sculpted in the shape of a colossal demonic entity or ancient titan opening its jaw, inside of which sits the glowing purple portal rift.
How to Make It
- Titan Skull Framing: Sculpt a giant jawline and skull frame around an oversized 21×21 Nether portal structure using blackstone, basalt, and obsidian.
- Magma Arteries: Weave glowing magma blocks and lava channels down the throat and sides of the titan build to simulate energy flow.
- Nether Bleed Effect: Replace surrounding overworld grass and dirt with netherrack, crimson nylium, and crimson stems as if the dimension is corrupting the land.
Tips and Variations Needs
- Portal Masking: Hide the rectangular boundary of the portal by layering custom obsidian teeth and horns forward in front of the portal frame.
- Variations: Design an Angelic Portal using quartz, glowstone, and gold blocks with large feathered white wings surrounding a blue-tinted portal frame.
