Idea 03: Ancient Desert Temple Bazaar

  • What This Idea Means: Inspired by Middle Eastern souks and ancient desert trading hubs, this design reimagines the trading hall as an open-air or domed sandstone bazaar. Colorful wool and terracottas break up sandy tones, while palm trees and open stalls bring authentic desert life.
  • How to Make It: Construct a large sandstone structure using Cut Sandstone, Smooth Sandstone, and Chiseled Sandstone pillars. Drape bright wool slabs (orange, yellow, cyan) across the ceiling lanes to mimic sunshades. Position villager cells inside carved sandstone alcoves with woven carpet floors and decorative terracotta accents.
  • Tips and Variations: Integrate water basins with water lilies and cactus flowerbeds in the central plaza to contrast the warm desert backdrop. Use fletching tables and cartography tables as thematic booths.
  • Materials Needs: Cut Sandstone, Chiseled Sandstone, Yellow and Orange Wool, Terracotta, Water Buckets, Cactus, Dead Bushes, Smooth Quartz.
