Smoky Quartz and Obsidian
Inspired by the healing crystals and protective stones used in modern witchcraft, this design mimics the natural, fractured beauty of smoky quartz and black obsidian. Using a marbling technique, veins of translucent grey, milky white, and deep charcoal are layered over one another, creating a realistic stone-like texture with incredible depth. A few flecks of silver or gold foil are embedded between the layers, mimicking natural mineral deposits catching the light.
Finished with a super-glossy, gel-like topcoat, these nails look like precious gemstones polished to perfection. This design is incredibly chic, organic, and fits beautifully into the dark academic aesthetic of autumn.
