2. Industrial Auto-Sorter Warehouse

Introduction

For players who prioritize raw efficiency and high-volume hoard management, the Industrial Auto-Sorter Warehouse is the ultimate endgame facility. It combines Redstone engineering with an expansive factory aesthetic.

What This Idea Means

Instead of manually opening dozens of chests to deposit loot, this concept relies on an automated Redstone item-sorting system concealed behind clean, industrial walls made of smooth basalt, iron blocks, and dark gray concrete.

How to Make It

  1. Dig out or clear a massive hall (minimum 30 blocks long and 15 blocks wide).
  2. Lay down a Redstone sorting line behind the visible wall line using Hoppers, Redstone Comparators, Repeaters, and Redstone Torches.
  3. Build the exterior interior facade using Gray Concrete, Polished Basalt, and Smooth Stone.
  4. Arrange vertical columns of chests (3 to 4 double chests tall) connected by hidden hoppers feeding from top to bottom.
  5. Install an input chest or drop-chute at the entrance where you unload your inventory after a mining trip.
  6. Accentuate the upper space with exposed iron block girders and yellow-and-black striped caution borders using Yellow Concrete and Black Terracotta.

Tips and Variations

  • Variations: Add an automated furnace array (smelter) integrated into the sorting system to process raw ores as soon as they are deposited.
  • Tips: Use Glow Item Frames above each chest column so items are brightly visible even in low-light factory settings.
