Immerse your base in nautical lore with a Sunken Shipwreck Treasure Cove. Built either underwater or inside a custom ocean cave, this design turns storage into a pirate’s hidden hoard.
What This Idea Means
This concept uses weathered woods, prismarine accents, barrels, and scattered treasure blocks (gold, raw iron, diamonds) to make your storage room look like a discovered sunken galleon.
How to Make It
- Construct the hull frame of a broken ship using Dark Oak, Spruce, and Jungle Wood Planks/Slabs.
- Place the main chest system inside the ship’s hold and quarterdeck areas.
- Scatter Barrels, Sea Lanterns, and Waterlogged Chests along the surrounding sandy ocean floor.
- Surround the wreck with Coral Blocks, Fans, and Sea Pickles for vibrant undersea lighting and color.
- Use Glass walls to hold back surrounding ocean water if you prefer a dry interior walk-through.
- Decorate with Gold Blocks, Emerald Blocks, and Ender Chests overflowing from broken wooden crates.
Tips and Variations
- Variations: Build the entire vault completely dry inside an island cave, giving it a classic “Goonies” style pirate treasure cavern feel.
- Tips: Use Waterlogging mechanics on stairs and trapdoors inside the build to maintain underwater aesthetics without creating unwanted air pockets.
