Built inside murky Mangrove swamps, this layout uses sprawling aerial roots and elevated platform stilts to keep the base high above water level. It features a waterlogged, rustic aesthetic that blends seamlessly with swamp biomes.
How to Make It
- Location: Find a dense Mangrove biome with tall root clusters growing over shallow water.
- Stilt Framework: Extend the natural Mangrove root systems downwards using Stripped Mangrove Wood to form sturdy pilings.
- Elevated Boardwalks: Build open-air wooden pathways elevated two to three blocks above the water surface.
- Hut Construction: Build small, rustic huts with thatched roofs made of Hay Bales or Mud Bricks resting atop the platforms.
- Docks & Boathouses: Add lower platforms right at water level with boat docks for easy navigation through the swamp channels.
Tips and Variations
- Materials Needed: Mangrove wood, Mud Bricks, Hay Bales, Moss Carpets, Vines, and Torches.
- Atmosphere: Keep the greenery dense by planting Propagules along the boardwalk edges to grow extra roots over time.
