12. Swamp Wooden Stilt Fortress & Marsh Village

  • Idea Introduction: Erected above gloomy marshlands and murky swamp waters, this stilt-built medieval sanctuary thrives in hostile, waterlogged environments.
  • What This Idea Means: Buildings elevated high off the muddy water level on thick oak and mangrove pillars. Boardwalks connect elevated huts, alchemy towers, fishing platforms, and witch hunter watchtowers.
  • How to Make It: Find a Swamp or Mangrove Swamp biome. Place thick vertical pillars of Mangrove or Muddy Mangrove Roots into the water bed. Construct wooden walkways using Spruce/Mangrove slabs and fences. Build rustic thatched huts using Hay Bales, Mangrove Planks, and Moss. Light streets with hanging jack-o’-lanterns or amber lanterns.
  • Tips & Variations / Needs to Make That Thing:
    • Palettes: Mangrove Wood, Mud Bricks, Hay Bales, Mossy Cobblestone, and Vines.
    • Variation: Add custom airboats or swamp barges moored along the wooden docks.
    • Needs: Mangrove sets, mud blocks, vines, lily pads, and lanterns.
