Materials Needed:
- Miniature wooden embroidery hoop pendant kit (approx. 1 inch wide)
- Raw flax linen or tight-weave cotton fabric
- Fine embroidery floss (sage greens, dusty roses, soft creams)
- Ultra-fine embroidery needle
- Fabric glue or hot glue gun
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Stitch Your Design: Stretch your linen fabric into a standard large embroidery hoop first to keep it taut. Using 1–2 strands of embroidery floss, stitch a tiny botanical pattern, such as a simple lavender sprig or a minimalist daisy, using basic French knots and lazy daisy stitches.
- Mount the Mini Hoop: Center the mini hoop inner piece behind your finished embroidery. Push the outer mini frame over it, sandwiching the fabric tightly.
- Trim the Back: Flip the mini hoop over. Trim the excess fabric down to about a quarter-inch border. Fold these edges inward toward the center back and secure them neatly with a few drops of fabric glue.
