- Arch-shaped clay cutter
- Acrylic roller or clay conditioning machine
- X-Acto knife or tissue blade
- Sandpaper (fine grit) and a hobby drill or thick needle
- Jump rings and a minimalist cord or snake chain
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Create the Base: Roll out a sheet of your cream-colored polymer clay to a uniform thickness of about 3mm.
- Make the Terrazzo Flakes: Take tiny bits of your accent colors (terracotta, sage, black) and slice them into microscopic, irregular fragments using your blade. Scatter these flakes randomly over your rolled-out cream base.
- Embed the Flakes: Gently roll over the clay sheet with your acrylic roller to press the flakes flat into the base, creating a seamless terrazzo pattern.
- Cut the Shape: Press your arch cutter firmly into the clay sheet. Use a thick needle or a small straw tool to punch a clean hole at the very top of the arch before baking.
